Slightly Sunday-morning niche question...
I have a Beryl Burner brake light: nice, decent battery!
Also have bontrager mudguards, which have a fitting for their lights, like this.
Sadly the Beryl only has rubber “wrap round something” fittings....which doesn’t work with the mudguard.

Any idea how to fashion something to marry the two?
I feel there is a reason hiding here to buy a 3D printer

It looks like the little bolt bit goes through the mudguard? And the light fittings want to fit around a tube shaped bit?

I had a similar problem fitting a light to a rack. I cut a short length of aluminium tube from an old rotary washing line, cut away a section from the bottom of the tube and drilled a hole opposite the cut-away. Use the bolt from the fitting to bolt the tube to the rack. The cut away section allows access for a screwdriver/Allen key. You can now fit your light to your custom-made fitting, sit back with a cuppa and bask in the admiration of friends and family...

Sounds like a definite project :okay:
I did use a cork cut in half to enable it to fit to my rack.....but it feels like the fitting that is there on the mudguard ought to be a better place. I’ll have a look and see if that could work neatly/better!
