Best app for tracking me

My other half always gets a bit worried when I go out so what`s the best app we can both use so she can login and be aware of where I am? I told her if I`m doing 70mph I`m probably in an ambulance but that didnt go down too well lol

I have free versions of Endomundo, Runtastic pro and Mapmyride but none of these let her track me - I set up accounts in my son`s name for all of the above with the intention of her being able to see me but I fear I have to upgrade to paid versions

Are there any free options out there?

I've been playing around with an app (for android) called 'macrodroid'. You can set it to relay your location every 60 minutes, or whatever time you specify, via sms or email. This may be of use to you or someone else!

I know that MapMyRide has a 'Live' function, which I've took as being a thing that broadcasts your progress and position to followers. Could be worth looking at closer?

I can advise a free small app "Randonneuring Map" : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.olegames.bikemap
This app send automatically (depending of timeout and distance) or manually your GPS-coordinates in one SMS-message to entered phone number ( for example : phone number of your other half, friend, etc... )
You can add text "want a coffee" to SMS and your other half can see this over Marker on Map in her smartphone.
