I'm getting a set but don't know what, I saw ones on ebay at a fiver inc post, would they any good or crap, they seem to sit to high to be any use...it's just general use. I guess my back ect will get dirty anyway no matter what

You wonder why no one has replied?

You are paying £5 for what?

No description, no information, nothing.

Its hard to comment sensibly on the quality of something we have no information about

Do you already have this bike? If not a rigid fork hybrid would be a better bet for roads and then you can get proper mudguards like SKS chromoplastics

Or if already have an MTB, something like this http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/FSSKSCOMTB/sks-commuter-mtb-mudguards
