Best/decent mudguard for mtb

I'm getting a set but don't know what, I saw ones on ebay at a fiver inc post, would they any good or crap, they seem to sit to high to be any use...it's just general use. I guess my back ect will get dirty anyway no matter what

I guess it don't matter a shoot, just get a set and put them on

You are paying £5 for what?

No description, no information, nothing.

Its hard to comment sensibly on the quality of something we have no information about

Do you already have this bike? If not a rigid fork hybrid would be a better bet for roads and then you can get proper mudguards like SKS chromoplastics

Yea had it for about 2 yrs (hardly used it truth be told), it's a rock hopper, I don't remember what model i know it's not the stump jumper but some kind of jumper, rigid back suspension front
