I'd like to say that it was The Smiths at Camden Electric Ballroom in December of 1983 (the year I arrived in the UK so I remember it well) but there might be a bit of nostalgic hindsight creeping in there.

Otherwise, there are 2 gigs that stand out for me,

The Fall, March 1990, Kilburn National, London
Murky Weasels, Sep 1989, Borderline, Charing Cross Rd, London

but that seems an injustice because there are so many other possibles, if I think about that list would easily grow

"World's greatest set at the World's greatest gig". I was 20 yards from the front and this one of the greatest days of my life including the birth of my two sons and Mansfield Town winning the Freight Rover Trophy in '87:

I hated Queen at the time and I found other things to do when their set was played on TV.

I've seen exerpts form their set for the first time in the Youtube clip and I have to agree that it's a platinum standard performance.

I gave away my tickets to the Live8 at Hyde Park a couple of years ago... now I will never see Pink Floyd in concert again. RIP Richard Wright

Either Glassjaw or Alexisonfire. Architects are pretty awesome live too.

Not a fan of big gigs (stadiums) but my dad would have loved that roger waters tour.
