Best Helmet for commuting

Hey!, i have just started commuting to work, and would love to know where i can get a good helmet which doesn't take up much space in my bag when at work?, i cant put it on my office desk as no room plus if i put it under the desk i will end up kicking it about!

Where do you park your bike? Can't you just leave it on the bike, better if a covered area?

There are of course folding helmet options, no idea what they are like so make sure you do lots of research, some options here (plenty more through google)

All helmets are approximately the same size because they cannot be smaller than a head.
There is no yarmulke version yet, find space to store it.

The only folding helmet I know is made by https://lidhelmets.cc/ and not cheap at about £85.
Even folded, it's still going to take up a fair bit of space.

My choice of headgear is a lot cheaper and much more easily stored though...

@jack9266 what sort of bag do you use, a backpack or panniers, if the former, maybe get a cycling specific one with a helmet 'pouch' on the front, Deuter offer such products

There are a number of collapsable or foldable helmets.
I prefer a helmet with few vent holes large enough to fit a shackle lock through.

I find them far too warm even in winter
