Best spec commuter bike for £450

Going to replace the one that got nicked, any good deals out there right now? Like the look of the badboys but they are guaranteed thief magnets...

FWIW - i've had a Badboy 700 for 8 month, and its not been nicked in London. I'm very careful where i park it though, and i've got a strong Abus chain lock.

Nice bike! - and nice price.

As is the Focus(above) mentioned by BBBikeystrike - high quality Shimano components, with somewhat unusual brakes.

Edinburgh Bike Coop are doing 15% off all their own-brand bikes at the moment.

Would recommend EBC for a look - did 2000 miles on one of their own brand Revolution bikes(over late summer/autumn 2009) no problems with reliability at all. Good value for money - look at the reviews on their bikes.
