So im looking for a cheap turbo trainer and wonder if anyone has any experience or views with the below?
Not getting much chance at all to get out on the bike due to work or weather on my days off, any advice would be really appreciated!
Cheers

There's no good turbo trainer; they are all horrible and only to be used as a last resort. Why not spend the money on a set of mudguards and get out there?

Would rather be in the dry over winter and keep the bike away from all the mud and grime etc!
Also haven't got the time to do the miles id need to on the bike whereas I could get a similar workout on the turbo such as interval training on the turbo.

If you were closer, you could have mine, a horrible contraption. What's even worse is that I am thinking about getting a better (direct drive) one for this season.

Thanks for the offer! But a bit too far away  they serve a purpose though, for me interval training and a few hour long sessions is all I need one for

Sure when I looked they were out of stock, although wiggle are doing them for £86, worth the extra over the others? Sounds as if you just pay less for more noise with the cheaper ones

Also think halfords price match to so you could save bit but the art fumction is just a cadence and speed sensor bundled in nothing fancy but can connect to zwift and other third party applications

They can be quite noisy so think about if that might be an issue depending on your living arrangements

I've got a brand new trainer tyre going cheap too if interested ;)

I don't like them, just feel unstable. I bought the tyre when I thought I might use one after my shoulder op, stuck with the exercise bike and was allowed back out on the bike sooner than expected, so never needed
