Bib shorts or shorts on a hybrid.....?

My son bought me some Planet X bib shorts for my birthday, amazing for £25.

The thing about bib shorts is they stop your shorts and underwear slipping all over the place over the course of a ride.

Except you shouldn't wear underwear under lycra shorts bibs or not

Why? Cycling shorts of the padded lycra type are designed for nothing under and nothing over.

Cycling was designed for lycra, embrace it and enjoy it.

Their doing a set consisting of shirt top, bibs and cap for 50 dumps, but me being a neanderthal tight fisted tyke makes it hard to part with my womans, yes WOMANS!? Aldi red cycling shorts? Do i have a problem?
