A pea soup fog on the marsh yesterday, making for a weirdly monochrome world and a highly dangerous one. While doing this shoot no fewer than four cars came hurtling down the road without any headlights, at which point I decided to call it quits and get the hell out of there.

No cars??? To find a lane like that with no cars here it would have to be a dedicated bike path. Sometimes, usually when I'm bicycling, I think I live on the wrong continent.

I was there for something over an hour, setting up and waiting for the light. In that time three cars went by and I actually thought it was surprisingly busy!
