Anyone else get this, only notcice on the new bike (I assume a slightly wider chain stay for the 11 speed and disk brakes)

I'm a size 16 UK but get away with a 15 wide shimano fit and have noticed that if my mind wanders a bit my heels clip the chain stay as o pedal

Wondering if chaging my clear position/cutting off my toes might help the situation

Assuming the cleats are set up right and you can't straighten your feet by a couple of degrees the answer is to try moving the cleats inboard by a mm or two on the shoes so as to move your feet out a bit. If this isn't enough, try spacers on the pedal spindles. If that doesn't work, take an angle grinder to the insides of your heels.

I get this too and im only a 13 basically some bikes do it some dont theres not alot you can do about it as said above you can try to set your cleat up so that you can turn your foot enough to hit the chainstay but this isnt always good on youd joints
