I use some sticky backed aluminium to protect the head tube from the cables and you need a decent spoke tool.

Just replaced my UT bearings (thinking a bit ahead) - got a cheap bearing puller off eBay (£1) and filed the ends down to do this.

Thanks cyngnet.

Check for the hacksaw (mini), but im still trying to work out how i could cut it without having rode it. The geometry is a bit different and will be a size above my current bike, so i wouldnt want to cut it too short. I've ordered a 5, 10, 15, and 20mm spacer, so maybe ill start with all of them and work my way down. I will also add a jubilee clip to the list to make sure i cut straight.

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
Handle bar end plugs (if not included with tape, or if so, are not up to required standard)?
