Hello all

I am 5ft 9" tall and have an inside let of 32" I am buying a new bike but I have to pre-order it so can't test ride it I've been riding a bike that measures 49cm from the middle of the bb to the top of the seat post now I know this is to small for me but I bought it before I knew anything about bikes

Would you recommend the medium at 53cm or the large at 55cm?

The bike is a boardman road sport incase that makes a difference

In general, although bikes are still measured using the seat tube, the top tube measurement is probably more relevant as a useful indicator of fit. 49 may end up being a bit short (in length), so you may be hunched over it a little too much.

I would say the medium would be best. I have a boardman road and I am 5ft 8" and 30" inside leg. I have a medium and I'd anything it is a ad large for me. I have been able to adjust it to suit though.
