It was a bit sad that the word "Royce" wasn't actually mentioned. How cheap were those wheels though - $360  . Royce hubs are £300 a pair.

Bad really as Royce are UK and very very good - can't think why go to the US........ there are better wheel builders here who will do the same spec (but will cost more), although I think he got done on the Record Groupset for 1800 euros............ get Super Record cheaper than that !!!!!

Royce hubs are indeed a thing of beauty - am jammy enough to have a pair (slightly discounted by the builder) B) . The quality is amazing and the wheels didn't cost *that* much more than the US ones...

We thought the claim that Campy invented the modern derailleur was one that could be contested...

Short it's Campag........... not campy........................

I have 2 x Campag seatpin bolts in my fleet and a pair of Campag Record Look Carbon pedals - why - I have Shimano everything else, but those 'bits' were the best at the time when I bought my two road bikes in the 90's.

Thought the hubs might have been Phil Wood, (i.e. US) but you could see the "R" rotating...........grrrrrrrrrr

TBH, it's gonna be watched by bike nerds like us so we see the Royce hubs........................

Mrs N made the mistake of being in the same room when it was on...I mentioned 'nice hubs' and she looked at me in a rather matronly manner...
