Like I said. It's neither the bin nor the binman's fault that you two caused an imaginary 50-car jam. It's your wife's for not paying due care and attention when she's driving, and yours for not helping her.
She's passed her test and she's driving....it's not my place to get involved. If I emptied bins, I'd put them back where I found them, If I was driving and saw a bin blocking my way, I'd take evasive action so as not to inconvenience other road users. As it was, I am neither a bin man nor a woman driver so I fail to see why I should take any responsibility for the whole sorry episode.

She is a dangerous driver.....she's a woman. However, dilemma. She is a kick boxer and could easily kick my head in. After carrying out a quick risk assessment I've concluded that this is more important than my social responsibility.
I guess she's kicked you in the head once too often, with the result that you are now imagining her very existence. You may find THIS web site helpful.^_^
She was amused and flattered about the model comment so now I'm married to a dangerous driver and a big head.

Audi Q7 4.2 DTI Quattro S-Line, so I kept quiet for damage limitation reasons. Hope that's clear. (ultimately, if the bin men hadn't blocked the entry to our drive, none of this would have happened)

That audi sounds too fragile to me if you have to worry about wheelie bin impacts.

I think that I have worked out why your wife moved the bin 3" short of where it should have been.
She didn't....it resides 3" short of the edge of our drive. The problem was she didn't move it at all. I wish you'd keep up, I've been through all this once.

Not so much just the wheelie bin impact but the weight of the Citroen DS3 1.6 HDI D-Style Plus pushing the wheelie bin into the back of the Audi Q7 4.2 DTI Quattro S-Line.

No. We change it every year. It's not my cup of tea really but the wife likes it.

It's such a drag walking to the car. It is only 4 paces from my door but when I get to the Coop there is fortunately always a space near the door of the shop that's wide enough for my 4X4.

I like your style.

Now if the doors of the Co-op were wide enough you could park your 4x4 in the shop.

The wife normally troops into the shop.....I stay outside in the 4X4 fending off selfish disabled drivers who seem to have a problem with me parking in a space that's clearly been designed for my Audi Q7.

I'd have thought that for a regular customer he should be able to stop outside, beep the horn and they trot out with the goodies.
You'd think !.... but it appears customer service in the Cooperative is non-existent. My Coop only employs retards....case in point is when I purchased about 20 items and I was asked if I'd like a bag !! I said no, it's OK, I'll just make 3 separate journeys to my Audi Q7 4.2 DTI Quattro S-line with all my provisions.....Yes. Of course I need a bag you bloody idiot !
