I actually prefer wine but it's not so good for you calorie wise. What would life be like without little treats now and then?

Some of my best times have been done the day after a sesh :whistle:

Funny that... my best ride this year was the morning after I drank a bottle of Merlot; I went like a train and felt fantastic.

Interestingly in the old days of the TDF when it was run as a spectacle for amateur racers, it wasn't uncommon for riders to stop and fortify themselves with a brandy. I wonder if they knew something about quick release energy drinks that we have forgotten?
