If you buy the cheapo biscuit barrel packs from the likes of Aldi, they're all the same size.

We've not had biscuits in the house since Dad retired from working for a United Biscuits subcontractor. Strangely enough, they're not missed...

Did you know that Pink Wafer biscuits are deadly poisonous to children and women? My Dad told me this when I was a child. I wonder what they taste like

Suprisingly close to the truth, during the 70s and 80s and presumably before, a prized item in British Army ration packs was a packet of "Biscuits Fruit". So yes,the Soviets were deterred from rolling through the Fulda Gap and setting us on the way to Nuclear Armageddon by a gang of hooligans armed with Garibaldi biscuits.

Indeed that applies to all wafer biscuits, including Knoppers.

I know quite a few people who dislike Bourbons. Why? They are just chocolate biscuits, and very nice they are too. Custard creams I will eat if there is coffee around to dunk them in, but otherwise no. We don't have biscuits in the house because I'd eat them all, but it's nice to have them at work when someone brings them in. I once ate 12 Bourbons at work with one hot beverage. Funnily enough I used to loathe jammy dodgers, but now I will tolerate them if there's nothing else available. Pink wafers though, not a chance

I think the problem with Bourbon's is that the chocolate isn't great chocolate so they are all a bit depressing. Although they are pretty much comparable to custard creams anyway. This does mean dark chocolate digestives are on my 'to eat' list for Sunday (next time I'm allowing myself chocolate).
