What's the weirdest thing you've eaten Marmite on? I like it under scrambled egg or in a sandwich with lettuce. I don't think either of these are particularly strange but I'm open to new ideas?

Marmite obviously goes with toast or untoasted bread.
It goes well with cheese.
It goes great with mashed up boiled egg or scrambled egg on toast.
It's fab with beans on toast.
It is a 'secret' ingedient when I make spag-bol-type sauces.
It even goes well, on toast, with peanut butter.

Marmite is meh . Can take it or leave it. Depends on my mood , time of day lots of things.


However peanut butter is utterly gopping, and is not nice at all. Lumpy or smooth, with or without additions.

That said I love peanuts as a snack. Dry roast , salted, plain that I need to de shell .

My Brother was a VERY fussy eater and it was one of the few things he'd eat, so I have observed this stuff close up over the years!
