Is there any recommended tyre type that's better at reducing slippage? I know due to the design of the trainer that it will slip when there is no weight on the saddle but just wondered if any types of tyre were better than others, eg wider ones better? What sort of width?

Currently using a trainer tyre and I'm guessing these are a harder compound which won't help

Thanks

Think from previous talk a 25mm tyre helps rather than a 23mm. I use Michelin Pro 3 tyres which are quite soft therefore grip well but are cheap and last a decent time as well. I use the trainer a lot and expect a tyre to do 6 months at least - probably more.
