I have a soft shell pearl izumi thermal jacket but I don't know if I'll be too hot in it. If I wear that, no need for long sleeve base layer

I’ve been wearing one of these this week, excellent with just a baselayer and gilet

I just looked and it says temp range of 0 to - 10 degrees, I really don't know why I got it. It doesn't even hit 0 degrees

It’s pretty cold for me, especially as my current cycling jaunts involve sitting outside with a friend drinking coffee
baselayers can be light, I just wear a LS running top

I don't see the point of mudguards, will just weigh me down and I don't get splashed without them anyway.

Decent mudguards, even clip-on ones, keep your back and feet from getting soaked with mud/dirt/water and protect components.

The temp range is just a suggestion. It may be fine for you up to 10c

no because i fell asleep by accident and by the time i woke up it was dark. No noise so far, fingers crossed i don't jinx myself here and a loud stereo will start blasting away 😭
