Yeah - I like my Black Pudding completely black. None of that sassenach stuff with white bits in. Well I mean WHITE in BLACK pudding!!!! - it's just wrong!

Myoglobin. Not blood....

Although there's nothing wrong with eating blood, the Masai thrive on it. It's another way to get a 'renewable' resource from cows, apart from milk, they bleed the cow, and then heal the wound and the cow suffers no ill effects.

Love it. Clonakilty is my favourite - it has oatmeal in it that crisps up nicely when fried. That and the aforementioned Morcilla, which I last had in a sort of scramble dish in Madrid .
