I used to buy them from a chippy near Sauchiehall street in the early 1980's. Very nice in batter. Can't repeat on here what they were called...

Sounds great!Having it for tea, some prize winning stuff I got from the Cheshire Smokehouse. This evening it is matched with wild boar sausages, fried egg, croquettes and tomatoes. Black pudding and warm runny yolk are a perfect combination.
My breakfast of choice, if I run to work, & am on a day-shift, & the Canteens openBlack pudding and a fried egg in a bap...used to be my choice at a carboot on a sunny sunday morning.
Must get some soon...
I was brought up on it, mostly blood and offlal, but it's good for you. I love it.
NoI love the stuff, my local butcher does the best in the world, but working in London i have to make do with the supermarket stuff which is ok.
Anyone else love the stuff.??
ooh la la, it's on a French website:U
Similarly I've never seen Bairds Worcestershire sauce anywhere but on a ship. Even Google seems to be struggling.
