Still in legwarmers here.

I've had a fair few soakings riding to work- fair enough- but it always seems to be raining at the weekend whenever I've got time for a ride.

Well that's it! The swine has beaten me, i've run out of time and patience waiting for a bit of dry weather!:surrender: I need an exercise fix though, i might do 40 minutes stepping off and onto a chair with a 10lb weight in a backpack. It's a bit primitive but it gets the heart racing, the old legs think they've climbed some hills, and i wont be getting soaked (apart from a bit of sweat) and freezing!

We're even suffering down on the Kent Riviera, although the sun has poked it's head out this evening and if the forecasts are to be trusted the wind is going to drop in time for my 60 miler along the coast tomorrow.

I spotted a chance at 7 o clock, there was a bit of blue sky so i went out on my old Carrera and did 20 miles. It kept fine apart from a misty shower, so better than chair stepping i'd say!;)

Just been for a drive to the Garden Centre at Todmorden and saw loads of cyclists there and back braving the weather

For me,its the car until it gets better

Dont like the rain, but I detest the wind, its like peddling up hill through treacle

Heading up to the Lake District in July, for a cycling/walking holiday and I seriously hope it dries up from what is currently going on :rain:
