As far as I know, the system doesn't send confirmation emails. You just get an confirmation page when you've completed the form.

Get this...
A short while ago Whitstable Yacht Club's 1-still-shot-every-30-seconds webcam (which I've been using for years) died.
I emailed the club and asked when it is likely to be fixed, and almost immediately received a reply from the Rear Commodore (Sailing) that he was seeking funds to fix it.
And lo! he has. With a live feed.
What's not to like?
