Item #1: The person in our household who most dislikes weeds [hint: it's not me] has recently learned that pouring boiling water on them is a most efficacious way of killing them. Easier on the back, too.
Item #2: Apparently the best way to boil eggs is to not boil them at all. Well, not hardly. I have been informed by the person in our household who eats eggs [also not me] that the ideal hard boiled eggsperience is to cover it with water with an inch to spare, put on medium heat, let simmer for 8 minutes, drain, then cover in cold water.
Any hints from your household?
