I`ve got a Raleigh Oakland that i`m looking to use for a couple of overnighters , But i`ve not got any bottle cages on the bike and there is no nuts welded to the frame, so i can`t fit any to the frame. Is there anyway i can fit any to the frame ?

Any help would be appreciated.

You can buy These but that means drilling into the frame with the right size drill bit then tapping them in place or These and save yourself the bother

I'm not sure where I saw them or if they're still being made but there are bottle cages that take zip/cable ties. You might even be able to bodge it with certain brands and a strip of rubber to protect the frame

My old Raleigh road bike did not have any fittings for water bottles, but I was still able to buy a couple of holders which could be fitted to the frame by small clips like they used to be. This was only about three years ago. The clips can be easily made as they was only a very thin strip of metal which wrapped round the frame, with a hole at both ends, which a small bolt passed through and then it can be tightened up to the frame.

Doing a search for "Bottle Cage Clamps" come up with many hits, so all is not lost, for example:-
