Come on- what's it weigh then. As much as a real Land Rover I suspect!

Lighter than a Halfords Apollo County and heavier than a Dawes Giro 500.
Lighter than a BSA 20 and heavier than a Specialized SWorks.

It's going to be my winter hack.
Disc brakes are what I went shopping for and I got a bike with discs 'for a song'.

Think I'm gonna have to change that cassette. Too low.

As it's a bike made by Land-Rover is it a 2x1 then?

As a matter of fact, it's NOT made by Land Rover.

The frame is 700x Alum alloy made in Taiwan on a CNC welder.
The groupo is Shimano made in Malaysia.
The brakeset is Tektro, made somewhere else near malaysia ???

Other bits and pieces are made somewhere else near malaysia.

The frame decals are printed local to the framebuilder and applied before the final laquer coat.

It is part assembed in the country of origin ( Taiwan ) and final assembly takes place in a factory unit near Tamworth, Staffs which is owned by a compant called '2x2'.

It is a 'flat pack' from the Far East, just like the Decathlon bikes.

Incidentally, my Dawes Giro 500 was a 'flat pack' from the Far East, marketed and distributed by Dawes Cycles Ltd, Castle Bromwich, West Midlands.
Delivery to me was through Spa Cycles of Harrogate, and I was responsible for final assy.

My Specialised SWorks was a 'flat pack' from the Far East, marketed and distributed by Specialised Bicycles INC, California, USA. Final assy and sale was done by Mike Vaughan Cycles of Kenilworth, Warwickshire.

Most OTP bikes come the same way.

But,

My BSA 20 was constructed from metal tubing in Nottingham. All the componentry was sourced in the UK.
My Moulton Mini was constructed in Bradford on Avon, England. The rear hub was from Germany but most other parts are from UK.

My Peugeot PX10LE was contructed in a suburb of Paris out of tubing manufactured in Tyseley, Birmingham. The majority of the components on the bike were sourced in France, except the saddle which was from Smethwick, Birmingham.

Years ago,one professional regularly used to come through the town on a training run - it might have been Barry Hoban but I'm not sure - using a racing trike. There's an idea for you Jimbo - and you could use it for the shopping as well.

Years ago, there was a cyclist in Birmingham who was hit by a bus. The cyclist's leg was permanently disfigured, so much so that he couldn't work or ride a bicycle again.
The bus company supplied him with a new Trike every three years until the chap passed away.
The chap's hobby changed from racing bicycles to following the bus routes on his trike.

There's another piece of totally useless information to waste the memory capacity of Admin's server.

I rather liked that story jimbo!

I rather didn't like the lack of response to what frame size your 'spare' bike now is..

It was snapped up last night. My GF's brother has had it.
His back garden is against the canal towpath and he's fed up with cleaning his expensive MTB.
