He was a very attractive, immensly talented man who touched the lives of many. All respect for keeping quiet about his illness he saved his family from a mauling by the press. I admit to feeling rather choked yesterday

Yeah, but what time would that be? As usual he was dressing like nobody else.
I think it was the Japanese Kibuki influence to be honest.

The band can be best heard on Stage, the live album from `78 which was recorded around the same time.

The only reason I went to Glasto 2000 was for Bowie. Feckin' terrific gig, warm summer evening, sunset over the valley, gentle whiff of mary jane wafting over the huge audience who came to see a legend belt out the hits and new stuff. Best gig of my life so far. Anyone else at Glasto 2000?.
