I've got a Decathlon Riverside 3 and really like it. I'll be needing to change the brake blocks soon and want to get some which put less wear onto the wheels. I remember reading somewhere on here some time ago that there are some soft ones available. Could someone enlighten me as to what make and type would be suitable.
Thanking you in advance. :bicycle:

Regular cleaning of the rims and blocks, including picking out bits of grit, will prolong the life of the rims.

.....that said, Btwin wheels are actually made from finest Reblochon cheese anyway - a replacement front wheel is £25 from Decathlon, so no wonder they wear so fast. Great bikes though.

Well I went to the lbs and bought some that they use on their bike services. Give the wheels a good clean as advised by yourselves and fitted the new blocks.
If the wheels aren't too expensive then I'm not worried about them wearing.....I like the bike so happy to put up with these little things.
Thanks for your help.....
