Hello all,
My lovely Deda seatpost I bought in a sale in the new year might be too laid back as I tend like my saddle position further forward than this design allowed me to, so I've ordered a Brand X Carbon, which on reflection seemed incredibly cheap.
Are they ok at that price? Will I lose my ability to breed?

I've got them on both of my Van Nicholas bike - probably the same weight as the aluminium posts they replaced and no noticable increase in comfort. They simply look better and the price was right at the time.

They may well do, but these are on titanium frames which were comfortable to begin with. I've got another make of carbon post picked up on clearace fited on my Bootzipper, but as it's a heafty 31.6m diameter post on a steel framed 29er it's difficult to tell how much difference it makes. Just remember to use carbon paste and not to over tighten the seatpost collar when fitting, then enjoy.
