Breaking Bad (possibility of spoilers)

Avoid the thread saying "possibility of spoilers" would be a good idea lol
But the implication is "spoilers for breaking bad" not just random spoilers for other things,

Every door opening, every car arriving, every step on the pavement, every turn of the head - you expected violence to erupt. It didn't, but your expectation told you what you already knew: their story is going to end violently and it's going to end soon. The details aren't important.

I (expletive) LOVE breaking bad.

Currently watching sapranos, sons of anarchy, six feet under. When I'm done with those I will watch brba again. Oh yeah you will like walking dead too. I'm not a zombie fan but I really like twd. Waiting to download season 4.

I just finished watching the last season of Breaking Bad. I also think it is one of the best shows ever. I was sad to see it end but I thought the ending was well done. I saw this thread earlier but was afraid to read it.

its on my to watch list a bit slow on the the uptake to start watching, however just started watching on netflix and wife is now hooked. There are a lot of good shows on netflix, loads to get through as mentioned above.

True Detective, however, I think is brilliant. That did have me from minute 5 and in Rustin Cohl they must have one of the most quotable TV characters ever written! Good soundtrack too. It dips a little around episode 4 or 5 but I think the producers may have hit on an original (or at least new) formula; it's all change for season 2 - different characters, story, setting, perhaps even era. It potentially keeps it fresh and avoids that series overrun mentioned upstream.

Yeah, couldn't love TD more. And I don't agree it dipped. My partner and I agreed before watching the last episode, that even if the whodunnit turned out to be lame, it was still a worthwhile journey - because it was about what the characters went through, rather than the mystery.

As for being quotable, that's no wonder. It's already quotes. That's not a criticism, btw. It seems to be the sort of book Rust would have read developing his philosophy.
We've just finished watching the last episode of True Detective. It was a bit a letdown after all the slow burning goodness up till then. Did they run out of time or money or something, or did they get bored?
Disagree, but can I suggest that if you want to discuss the end of true detective, we start a new thread?
