Yeah, I know, how long is a piece of string?, but I was wondering if any of you had any prior experience that could give me a rough idea as to how long in terms of days this would take if I were to ride from Briançon (Hautes Alpes) to a channel ferry port via Grenoble, Lyon, Bourges, Orleans.
To give you an idea of the sort of distances I do in a day, I'm the sort of guy who thinks that a centimetre more than 100km, and a week without a rest day, is cruel and unusual punishment for a holiday.
Any advice welcome!
