The normally bike-friendly Bristol 24-7 news website allowed a guest post from an anti-cycling person recently, and has now put this on by way of reply.

I think it is rather good at explaining the joys of riding in our "Cycling City"

I've mixed feelings about that, indeed. Portrays cycling as dangerous, stressful and conflict-fuelled. It's not the Bristol I recognise, but I know I used to pootle along Festival Way, the floating harbour, Brunel Mile, Frome and Malago Greenways, Concorde Way, railway path and other low-stress routes rather than the mean streets. It's probably a very different experience if you're making lots of short utility rides in places like Clifton.

It'll be interesting to see if the replies tell the author that yes, they would rather he drove the silly BMW!
