The clocks go forward by one hour this weekend, which will make the evenings lighter. Watching the BBC Breakfast news this morning and they were debating the pro's and con's of BST all year round.
ROSPA are apparently now in favour as children are more at risk going home after school than in the mornings going to school. In fact the only people against seemed to be farmers ostensibly because it means working extra hours.
Surely farmers work around the prevailing weather conditions and daylight hours to do what has to be done. What's to stop them working the same hours around GMT in the winter?
Start an hour later and work an hour later. Same hours; same as makes no difference or am I missing something?
