broken veloce gear shift lever

The gear lever broke off from one of my campag veloce shifters today

(1) Can you replace just the lever or does it have to be the whole thing?

(2) Would this normally be covered under warranty? (the bike is 6 months old).

It sounds like a warranty job to me

Mercian Cycles - they have an Ergo expert!!!! - will replace the lever for not a vast sum. Give them a call.
