Do you all realise that if @benb, @User and @AKA Bob had got organised then Team CC would have come in about 5th place?

I'd have loved to enter the ballot for this - not that I'd have contributed materially to a team effort - but coming the day before the RideLondon 100 there was no way I could have done both.

A couple of pics. I'm the one in the first pic with the bright tie. I got 190th in the men, which I'm pretty happy with as I was in wave D. Hopefully improve next year if I can get in.

I saw you, and even commented to my daughter "I like that tie !" I would have said hello if I had known

In the first photo, if you look carefully, the chap behind you with the blue helmet is me (I think) - I had guessed I would take 40 minutes to complete the 17km course on the entry form, and got put int the C-group. I was pretty good at unfolding the Brommie, but everything went slowly downhill from there

(Although on a second, more detailed look, I'm not sure it is me ..)
