I think excellent Cyclesense in Tadcaster is the only dealer left and they only sell the top of the range tourers. Plus you'd be paying lots of duty.

It supposed to be safer. If you grab handfuls of front brake in a panic it is going to end badly, with the rear you may take a longer distance to stop, but at least you are upright.

I've heard this theory but it's not something I've ever had trouble with; this may of course merely reflect how slowly I usually ride.

Very good point, I foolishly thought that supply problems wouldn't affect a cycling nation like the NL,but it likely affects them just as much.
Despite being able to search for almost anything on 't interweb , you will have find what you're looking for, so a physical look & feel can give better results.
Who doesn't like looking in bike shops......

Dutchies just do what you need to do, for utility cycling, imagine riding that in super stiff wooden clogs !
I rather fancy a Dutch cargo trike, but I couldn't keep it at home, already got enough on my hardstand at home, a motorScoot, a box trailer, and dinghy!
Can't get another bulky bike in my hall , already a recumbent trike living there.

I love the naming. I must have missed the year that a similar model was ridden in the TdeF. maybe is was the Festina team bike the year they got thrown out?
