I always look through the reduced stuff. I'll even take suspect veg and take the bad bits out if it's really cheap, I see it as if I can get a cheap meal and save some waste then everyone wins

Pretty much all our meat & fish comes from the yellow sticker cabinet. It's stuff we would buy anyway, at a third off, and since it's going straight in the freezer what's the difference? Plus the occasional bit of exotica I wouldn't otherwise buy - a whole duck, say. A more interesting diet and proper money saved - what's not to like?

Aren't all their overhead price labels yellow, or is that the other one?

Their overhead price labels are yellow, but the "reduced price" ones are red.

I don't think they do any individual cut price offers on fresh stuff, or if they do, someone has always got there first......

Quite often I get low priced, yellow sticker food but not fish or pre cut veg. I did get a gammon joint for 50p and had it for Christmas dinner. That did 2 meals so very chuffed.
I only buy what I know will get eaten. I saw one woman filling her trolley with yellow price stuff, just grabbing it and flinging it in her trolley leaving nothing for anyone else at all.

This Yellow Sticker business is all new to me. But then again I never do supermarket shopping. That's Mrs Ian's dept. And when she can't be arsed to go she get's home delivery.

Another tip from the hygienist...do NOT rinse after brushing, toothpaste should linger for max effectiveness
My dentist told me that too. I found it really hard to break the habit of nearly 60 years. If I didn't pay attention I just rinsed my mouth without thinking. After 9 months I am just about used to not rinsing.
