I am sorry to lower the tone of this discussion, but I shop at Aldi, and they don't seem to operate a yellow sticker system......
Ecoli? Salmonella? Campylobacter?Pretty much all our meat & fish comes from the yellow sticker cabinet. It's stuff we would buy anyway, at a third off, and since it's going straight in the freezer what's the difference? Plus the occasional bit of exotica I wouldn't otherwise buy - a whole duck, say. A more interesting diet and proper money saved - what's not to like?
Aren't all their overhead price labels yellow, or is that the other one?I am sorry to lower the tone of this discussion, but I shop at Aldi, and they don't seem to operate a yellow sticker system......
My butler has usually left for the evening by the time the yellow stickers come out.
were the sausages a little deer?Yep, no problem having a rummage through the reduced to clear section.
Had some fantastic venison sausages the other week.![]()

No. I was actually lying about the stickers tooDid you try their extra-angry green ink?
I've heard that Miss Goodbody insists on all her fruit and veg being fresh, apparently she hates the thought that her melons might ever be past their best.No. I was actually lying about the stickers too![]()
I hear she once had a bit of a problem removing some yellow stickers and couldn't understand why Steven de Jongh had brought a towel to help with the pulling off.I've heard that Miss Goodbody insists on all her fruit and veg being fresh, apparently she hates the thought that her melons might ever be past their best.
As far as I can make out the danger is from being killed in the rush rather than food poisoning.

My dentist told me that too. I found it really hard to break the habit of nearly 60 years. If I didn't pay attention I just rinsed my mouth without thinking. After 9 months I am just about used to not rinsing.Another tip from the hygienist...do NOT rinse after brushing, toothpaste should linger for max effectiveness![]()
