Why would the thread need to be locked???

So, apart from the politics which is banned, the personal barbs which are banned, the meta discussion which is banned, what have the Romans ever done to get banned?

Some people seem upset at seeing that in reality the rest of the board are bored of their Political opinion leaking in to other topics.

I happen to agree with you @jowwy - but the problem is that politics pervade many threads. Using your criteria The Retirement thread should be moved - one particular poster has complained about the NHS and regularly rants about illegal immigrants arriving on the beaches of southern England. There should be zero tolerance for these posts on the new CC.

I agree with your post and agree that there is a problem in deciding where politics starts or stops. Politics in some form affects all of us in different ways and means that we have a different way of looking at things. Where to draw the line is the problem.

On the by, you are not banned (nobody is) from the new NACA, you only need to register for access by sending a contact us message titled NACA access.

Does that include RIP threads?

RIP threads can still be posted on CC.

We don't all agree - probably most of all the moderators.

Shaun made it clear that threads will not be moved as it is a separate forum. The thread would need to be locked/deleted on CC.

I agree. It doesn't help when some innocuous posts get removed, when others that seem to break the forum guidelines remain, which leaves posters confused as to where that line is.
