Can anyone settle an argument for me regarding Bill Nighy please?

So quick as a flash I say, 'oh hello I'm Bill Nighy, and in my latest film I'll be playing Bill Nighy, the same as I do in everything I've been in.'

Am I right?

I don't know why the first bit's in bold, and I'm not going back to find out. 😄

I was just saying this the other night when he was narrating a railway programme, he does play the part of Bill Nighy superbly. I think it's his strongest role.

To be fair there are many actors who have done the same throughout their careers. Look at the dear departed Sean Connery. Whether Russian, Shpanish, Irish, English, Shcottish... shame acshent.

He put in a good turn in The Undoing too.

Bill Nighy did a good job in the Pirates of the Caribbean where he was arguably not Bill Nighy.
