As long as I breathe, I attack.
Commuter keeps its guards all year around

I changed from using a mudguarded bike to an unmudguarded one last summer. Blummin Eck, I soon fitted some mudguards on it.
With a summer like that, who needs winter?

Would somebody like to post the reasons behind the benefits of riding without mudguards, unless racing of course.

Noise. If they work loose they can sound like a helicopter. Then there is racing. If you TT or hill climb, then taking them on and off is a fag. I leave them off.

Took my crud II's off last Thursday but only because I had to put the bike in the car. I put them back on Tuesday night due to weather forecast. It didn't start raining till I was back home on Wednesday. Typical.
I'll keep them on for another while yet.
