Someone bought me one of these for my birthday recently and it's lovely:smile:

It's f#*king massive!

Edit... Well it was in the other picture. This one is a much more reasonable size for a bike.

I haven't got an mp3 player so I find ringing my bell in time with the music in my head very entertaining.

I have a dog, a bike, a bell, a flat cap, an extendable lead and a bike, but have never ridden the TPT (AFAIK)......

I have one on my commuter and one on my hybrid when towing the kids.

I use them to pre-warn peds, runners, dog-walkers etc

I have a bell on each bike. Useful for pedestrians.

For drivers I want an ex lighthouse fog horn. Nothing less is loud enough for them. Bit too big for the bike though.

Oh - and the light as well. Even that wouldn't be bright enough for some of them.

I don't have a bell, I recon they belong in a museum.

I'm glad most are along the lines of common sense and agree that bells should be banished, in my house they go in the same place as all the reflectors and plastic disks.

No real need for a bell for peds. I always shout "Excuse me" or "On your left/right". If I have the airzound on, I will only honk peds when I am a long way off. Never when I am right behind them.

Plus my oversized bars on the Spesh are too big for normal bells. I might fit one onto the commuter to save my voice through the winter though.
