For those who have been especially disparaging here: I’m kind of curious what kind of “relaxing light entertainment” you prefer?

Sure, this isn’t Mastermind or Only Connect, but neither is it (what I consider mind-numbing!) Corrie or other soaps 🤷‍♂️

It’s a bit of fun, this time with some *proper* celebrities - hardly B & C-list, albeit some won’t be known to people who aren’t in their sphere. That said, we have enjoyed the previous series too.
The fun is watching them (failing to, so far 😂) figure out who the traitors are. & like the vast majority of TV, of course it is edited to tell the story.

I enjoy The Great British Bake Off and to some extent The Great British Sewing Bee, Antiques Roadshow. Much of what I think you mean by light entertainment I'm not really interested in. Some random examples would be most afternoon TV, the late afternoon quizzes, Strictly, The One Show, Dr Who, Eastenders, Call the Midwife, any reality TV.

I'm aware of many of these programmes because my wife watches them. It's something I can't grasp. A very intelligent woman with many, many interests will watch what I regard as awful TV. She will shout at the contestants on Tipping Point if they don't time the counter drop properly. I ask you.

That's right. The question was "I'm kind of curious what kind of 'relaxing light entertainment' you prefer?" I listed a few light entertainment programmes I enjoy.

I went on to say I'm not interested in much light entertainment and gave some examples.

Hey! I grew up on the Isle of Wight: I *love* a coin dozer game, & I’m with your wife when idiot contestants fail to press the button right 😂😂😂
& yes, yours things are light entertainment that I enjoy too.
