Can you still buy plaice?

In Tesco earlier down the frozen aisle and I just fancied some plaice in breadcrumbs, but there's none to be had, nothing fresh at the fishmonger either.

Is it in short supply now, or not available due to being over fished?

I've wondered where online stuff comes from when it's not stocked in the store where I see the pickers working, too.

In my experience they replace it with something that they assume you'll be happy with instead, which is why I always tick the no substitutions box.
