of course it will need some modification to get the weight down, the handle could be removed and then the key bent to shape.

Glad to hear that you are still enjoying your rides and that you have got an alarm,very wise. Personaly i'd recommend pepperspray for yobs which can also come in useful when you have a big snarling dog chase you.

Try pedaling fast enough to get away from a mad dog !...

Hi Peanut, yes I am stiill very very much enjoying my cycling, I come in dissapointed the days ride is done

Todays 18 miler was tougher than yesterdays 22, because there were so many hills and boy were they steep!! Lots of stoney areas too, so having to hang on to the handlebars alot. Todays ride is when I need a really good workout!

I will maybe get some pepperspray, thanks Knowing my luck I would spray it with a down wind and get it myself

I was just kiddin about the pepperspray tbh . I'm not sure it is legal in the UK better check. if it is it would be the best self defense you could carry with you.

My Canadian neighbour used to carry it on walks here, but like you say, not sure if it is legal or not.
