Canyon people's thoughts

Thinking about upgrading from my specialized Sirrus to a road bike have been looking and found the canyon roadlite, http://www.canyon.com/_uk/roadbikes/bike.html?b=2502 what are people thoughts on this bike, it comes with a 105 groupset and all for a touch over £700.....

They certainly seem to be getting good reviews, although I've heard their customer service can be lacking but I have no direct experience of either TBH.

The bikes are good, not far off - but not quite - the best at each price point. Ive heard mixed reviews about their customer service.

I called the customer service once out of curiousity. I would need to invest in some german language lessons before considering such a supplier.

Also I personally think the bike you linked to is fugly, would rather have a boardman for that money

Full 105, Aksium wheels, Conti 4000s, Ritchey finishing kit, Selle Italia saddle, just over 8kg - for £719 (plus carriage, remember). Looks to be amazing value. And I like the way they look - esp the black ones. But no experience of their customer service - yet - I am seriously thinking of getting one of the Ultimate Al's when the 2013 ones come in (out of stock in my size in the 2012 model).

The UK customer service department speak fluent English.
