99% of all adverts are tosh. The only ones I take seriously are the ones...,that don't take themselves seriously, a bit of humour around an advert works wonders
In that respect, in terms of car adverts, I still remember the Clio ones with "Nicole" and "Papa", even though they were 25 years ago.

When I had a telly, the thing that amused me about car adverts was that most of the cars shown were L/H drive, the models shown were of the top of the range ones and the roads they were driving on were empty.
Where are these roads pray - ?![]()
I understand at one time Ford was shooting publicity/brochure photos (maybe adverts too) using cars with registration plates which would look okay if reversed....... thus they could reverse the LHD image to make it appear RHD Clever- Eh?
Car adverts are cack, more about gizmo's/tech than the actual drive, and of course image. This is the only car advert can remember liking, owned one of them a few years later after the advert.
