In the right conditions yes and if the rear wheels are powered.
It's breaking the traction of the rear tyres and electric motors don't deny the laws of physics. - Although to try to prevent them doing so, cars, frequently have traction control electronics, which may or may not, be able to be switched off.

Been trying to understand what is the point of car Drifting ???
My son is into the scene, I would like to think he only does it on tracks but I'm not that naive, but he is good, he's currently running a 2.3L BMW, with a 2.5L fitted, we have a 4.0L V8 Lexus engine to fit into it this year when the weather warms up. His car control is superb, although it did cost him a few other cars to get that good.
