Just out of curiosity I looked on Youtube at some clips where cyclists wear headcams. The worse thing about it is that I will never get that 10 minutes of life back. But what I did learn is the worst thing ever attached to bikes, apart from Web cams, is brakes.

Even when it is going to be a minor collisions, the rider brakes to avoid the collision and invariably shouts "oy" as the car drives away.

To improve safety on the roads in the Uk all bikes need their brakes removing and a nationwide campaign to let all other road users aware that the bikes have no brakes.

Once a few dozen cars have been damaged the papers will start reporting and drivers will become more aware of cyclists.

If a few cyclists have to become martyrs to the cause, that is just the price that needs to be paid.

Another good revenge tale I heard was about the bloke who got sacked from the Brighton rock factory. Shortly afterwards the Management discovered they had two miles of rock in their warehouse with the words "F**K OFF" written through it.

probably backfired. I bet it sold really well as a novelty item, and the managers all got a bit bonus !

I have a funny feeling that you have carried out a criminal offence, not 100% sure though. I hope you left a note explaining why you did it and who you were, as we would not want the driver blaming somebody else.

I really hope that you did not do it. In fact I might go over to the "Landie" forum and create a link.

"Landie" You have a Land Rover i take it? Damn! those tyres don't half make a noise when you let the air out(!):giggle:

I don't quite understand how you get from "People will make mistakes from time to time" to "It's hypocritical t criticise other people's mistakes, because you make them too"

I mean, you are implying that we should not bother taking any action over people's mistakes - even when the mistake could have easily caused someone an injury.

Certainly not, horrible things that I would certainly not buy. However I am in the trade and was fixing some dents on one yesterday, so the terminology seems to stick.

I am suprised that our resident cyclist copper has not been in to tell us of the legality of letting a persons tyres down, something I would consider dangerous. That added to the fact that the motorist would put no connection between what happened and a deflated tyre.

Man up and knock on the guys door and tell him what you think, educate him. Not hide in the bushes after dark.
